London St. Andrew’s College is hosting it’s Orientation Event on the 9th of August 2010. This is a great opportunity for new and overseas students to get accustomed to the new environment, meet their lecturers and their fellow colleagues. We have a flexible and friendly team of members working for the College and students are more than welcome to approach ore team for any related queries.

Eventful Cricket Match
Eventful Cricket Match!!!!!
London SAC students have proved yet another time that they are capable to excel in numerous challenges; apart from academics.
NTV Inter College Cricket Match were organised and London St. Andrew’s College battled against Brit College on the 20th of July and against Churchill College on the 22nd of July.
Other students of the College motivated the players and it was a great day for all. more .. |

Happy St. Andrew’s day
London St. Andrew’s College management and student is been greeted by the authority to celebrate St. Andrew’s Day. The college authority has also launched an easy competition on St. Andrew’s. The wiener will be given tuition fees scholarships facility and a certificate on the orientation day (14/11/2011). The potential participant is been asked to gain information regarding the competition from the registrar office.
St. Andrew’s day:
St Andrews Day is on 30 November. On this day, Scots all around the world celebrate their national day.
About St. Andrew:
Saint Andrew is the patron saint of Scotland, Greece and Russia and was Christ\'s first disciple. He was one of the Twelve Apostles (disciples of Jesus) and brother of Simon Peter (Saint Peter). He was a fisherman by trade, who lived in Galilee (in present-day Israel.)
St Andrew\'s Day Celebrations:
St Andrew\'s Day is often a celebration of general Scottishness with traditional food, music (especially bagpipes) and dancing.
St Andrew\'s Day - Bank Holiday:
In January 2007, the St Andrew\'s Day Bank Holiday (Scotland) Act was given royal assent, making 30 November (or the nearest Monday if a weekend) a bank holiday in Scotland. However, instead of being a full public holiday, it is a voluntary public holiday.

Cricket, Cricket, Cricket!!!!!! Inter College T20 Cricket competition.
Come on! This year, we want to proof that London SAC team is the best team in inter College T20 cricket tournament. To join in the 20 players scoured please write your name, contact number, e-mail address, home address, photographs, specialization like bating, keeping or all-rounding and send it to cricket@londonsac.co.uk. Alternatively, you can come to college reception and fill form. The dateline of your registration is 14/04/2011. We will hold two practice session to find possible team mate on Friday the 15th of April and Sunday the 17th of April, 2011. The Glories battle returns! (T20 Inter College Cricket Tournament)
London St. Andrew’s College will face BSGS College in The Victoria Park Cricket ground on 06/07/2011 at 14.00 hours. This is the most excitement format of cricket event in the world cricket format, so missing this event is missing like world Cup Final in your life!
It is also one of the most prestigious events in the London St. Andrew’s College Event calendar. We hope your Presence will make this event successful!
There are other two matches will take place on the 10/07/2011 at 17.00 and on the 13/07/2011 at 14.00 hours.
So please come at college at least two hours before the match time to join us or come straight way to the Victoria Park cricket ground.

Study Tour to University of Cambridge (one of the world’s oldest Universities and leading academic centre)
London St. Andrew’s College is announcing this exciting study tour to University of Cambridge on the 14/07/2011. All interested students are advices to contact reception or tour organizer to book this by Friday the 07/07/2011. This is Mandatory for All BCS Students and optional for rest of the school’s students. Please be aware that tour will start at 9.00 am from the college and returns by 8.00pm. So take your belongings like, pen, note book and any other accessories you may need for the whole day!

Student Course orientation event @ London SAC
London St. Andrew’s College is pleased to announce its course orientation day on the 22/08/2011 for August intake. This is mandatory for all students. The event will start from 10.30 am and will finish around 18.00 pm. Please be aware that you all have to be present throughout this event. There will be light refreshment served during the day. All lecturers are also invited to join this programme.
Students are also reminded that course and subject registration for the semester needs to be completed on the same day. This is also to remind that any student not registered with an awarding body, please make sure you have completed it by the end of Orientation day.
For ACCA students who are still waiting to sit for exams, please complete registration during Ordination day.
The BCS batch may complete their registration for October exams as soon as possible. All registrations, once completed, may please be forwarded to the registrar@londonsac.co.uk for record keeping.

Once again Tour!
We, London SAC family always believe in hard work and fun! After a long study session, it is time to get refresh for the family members to enjoy the most from one of the best University campus in the world (University of Cambridge)and one of the best botanic garden in the world (Kew garden).
Please update our event calendar with the following upcoming events.
On the 26/10/2011 a full day tour to university of Cambridge:
Students are invited to arrive at college campus by 9.00 am. The coach will be leaving the campus at 9.30 and will be arriving at Cambridge at 11.30. A guided tour will be arranged to visit the campus and city of Cambridge before the lunch. After the lunch, student will be allowed to visit different places like museums and monuments on their own choice. At 5.00 pm we will get back on the coach and hopefully return London by 7.00pm. Please make sure, you keep worm cloth with you and any necessary kits you may require during the day. College will be providing, breakfast and lunch during the tour. Please contact your class representative by 18/10/2011 to book your place. College has arranged a day tour to Kew garden (world famous botanical garden) on the 22/11/2011. All students are advice to book these events by 10/11/2011 with the class representative. We will leave the campus at 9.00 am and returning back by 17.00. Kew Garden Tour on 22/11/2011
Dear Student, Teacher, Staff and other Stakeholders, We are writing to remind you the Kew Garden tour on the 22/11/2011 at 9.00 am to 15.30. Please be informed that, this tour is been paid by college and you will only pay the transport cost (to take tube to Richmond). Your friends and family members are welcomed. There are only 150 places to be given to students on the first come first serve basis. So please mail to tour@londonsac.co.uk by informing your name and Id number including number of guests you are bringing. Alternatively you can write your name at reception desk by Monday, 21/11/2011. Please be informed that student must have to be present at 9.00 am on the day and will not be allowed to join if not at college on time. Student wishes to travel to Kew garden alone will not be permitted to entre in the garden and have to pay for their own ticket. Those student has class on the day is compulsory to travel to Kew garden and rest of the students are optional. But please be aware this is one of the lifetime experiences for students to entre in the world famous botanical garden and explore many things important for their life, and finally, College is paying for it! Note: those students and teachers are missing classes on the day will be reschedules on the 29/11/2011. Please be informed, all students will be reporting the same team leader you reported on the Cambridge Tour. Career Development Workshop on Wednesday, 19/12/2011.
London St. Andrew’s college is pleased to invite all its students for a career development workshop, to be conducted by the college’s career development officer on Wednesday 19/12/11 from 10am to 1pm, at college premises.
The workshop is aimed at helping participants to find the right direction for themselves in the midst of rapidly changing economic and employment environment. Getting career development right is important for individuals in terms of their own careers, to adapt to organisational change, in a proactive manner.
The aim of this workshop to help our students get on the right career path after completing their education.

Student Orientation Day-13th February 2012 London St Andrew’s College
London St. Andrew’s college announces that the above mentioned orientation session for all students will be held at college premises from 9.30 am to 5.30pm.
All students and a strategic partner of our educational programme are cordially invited to grace this occasion with a short speech about your organization and its activities. Refreshments would be served and the session conclusion would be followed by lunch.

Student Orientation Held for spring Term, 2012
Brisk activity was noticed at London St. Andrew’s College Orientation Day held on Monday February 13th, 2012. It was a full day session with refreshments and hunch served by the college to all participants. A series of activities took place on this occasion. Management and lecturers were introduced, time-table for the new term was given out, student Attendance Policy summary and Absenteeism Policy were highlighted and Tier 4 Student Responsibilities and Migration Rules were explained. All this was done to facilitate our students, to have the best possible learning, experience while at London St. Andrew’s College. Mr. Tim Murari, CEO of British Awarding Body OTHM, was kind enough to grace the occasion. Such Orientation Days are a regular feature of our Autumn and Spring Term commencements. more .. |
